Famous war movie update screened in New York
The update-version of The Last Ghost of War, which examines the impacts of Agent Orange on American veterans and the Vietnamese population, was screened at The New School, New York, on March 28.
This update version also adds developments of the US Court of Appeals on the Vietnamese Agent Orange victims lawsuit against US chemical companies.
It also includes activities of the representatives for Vietnamese victims coming for the court in the US last summer.
New York-based Newsday has called The Last Ghost of War a œmust-see and œa catalyst for a much needed national dialogue on Agent Orange.
Ambassador Bui The Giang, Deputy Head of the Vietnamese delegation to the United Nations, attended the screening.
The Last Ghost of War, produced by Gardner Documentary Group, has been broadNorwegian public television); in the Middle East by Al-jazeera; in French speaking Canada by RDI; and in Japan by NHK.
