Hair style contest closes
The Hair Style Creative Contest Vietnam 2007 organised by Dep newspaper and Davines Co. has ended with Bui Duc Thinh winning the first prize.
Bui Duc Thinh will represent Vietnam at the Asian contest held in July in HCM City. The 2007 world contest will be held in Barcelona, Spain this coming October.
Nguyen Huyen Linh won the Best Cutting Technique title, and Best Colours went to Tran Buu An. The remaining 7 of the 10 finalists were all awarded third prizes.
For the final night held yesterday, June 10, at the Hanoi Opera House, the organisation committee invited famous Vietnamese hair designers Tran Hung, Minh Tam, and Hong Phuong, as well as two leading hair artists in the world, Brian Suhr and Kirsten Demant, both of whom come from Denmark.
Contemporary music and dance performances arranged by musician Thanh Phuong and choreographer Tan Loc, respectively, as well as fashion designer Cong Tri new collection all contributed to the success of the final show.
