Best tourism businesses honoured
As many as 100 tourism businesses operating in Vietnam were selected to be presented with the 2006-2007 Guide Awards for their best services, announced the Vietnam Economic Times in Ho Chi Minh City on June 11.
The Anoasis Beach Resort in southern Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, Evason Ana Mandara Resort in central Khanh Hoa province, Furama Resort in central Da Nang city, the Pilgrimage Village in central Thua Thien-Hue province and the Long Thanh Golf Resort in southern Dong Nai province were among the winners.
The awards aim to honour these businesses perfect blend of quality services and efficiency, in addition to their performance in environmental protection, use of natural materials and upholding of traditional cultural identities.
The award ceremony is scheduled to be held in the central coastal city of Nha Trang on June 15.
