Vietnamese beauties to gather at Nha Trang festival
The main event of the upcoming Sea Festival 2007 will be the Carnaval-Night of the Sea Festival, during which Vietnamese beauties and others will parade alongside thousands of flower-decorated vehicles.
According to the organisers of the Nha Trang Sea Festival 2007Rendezvous, the Carnaval will start at 7pm on June 10 at April 2 Square and travel along Tran Phu road with 1,500 paraders including dancers and stuntmen dressed in costumes mimicking sea creatures as well as strangely designed boats, canoes, jet skies, cyclos, vespas and other vehicles.
The parade will be made special by the presence of Miss Vietnam Mai Phuong Thuy, Miss Asia USA Jennifer Pham, Miss Ao Dai (traditional dress) Than Hoang Dieu, Miss Ba Ria-Vung Tau Sea Vu Ngoc Diep, Miss Photographic Cao Thanh Hang, Miss Women Magazine Photographic Duong My Linh, Miss Cinema Mai Mai as well as 40 other beauties and models from HCM City, Hanoi and Nha Trang City.
According to Hoang Kieu, President of Raas, the main sponsor of the event, Raas will donate VND11billion (US$688,000) to charities. Of this amount, VND50million (US$3,125) will be used to buy uniforms for Green Summer 2007 volunteers.
